Adam earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas in 2003. His professional journey began in the corporate world, gaining valuable experience and training at Fortune 500 companies such as Konica Minolta and ADP. In 2007, Adam was introduced to the dental laboratory industry, a moment that sparked a lasting interest in the field. He joined Zahn Dental, the laboratory division of Henry Schein, as a Field Sales Consultant and later moved into management. Over his 7.5 years with the company, Adam worked with hundreds of labs nationwide, helping them implement efficient, cost-effective solutions using the latest technologies and materials.

 

Building on this experience, Adam took on the role of Director of Sales at Harvest Dental Products, where he helped guide strategic sales initiatives and strengthen the company’s presence in the laboratory market. Recognizing a growing need for digital innovation, Adam co-founded Digital Esthetic Solutions, a fully digital dental laboratory in Colleyville, TX. There, he focused on delivering streamlined, tech-forward solutions for modern restorative workflows.

 

In 2022, Helm Dental Laboratory acquired Digital Esthetic Solutions as part of its strategic expansion and commitment to staying at the forefront of digital dentistry. Adam transitioned into the role of President at Helm Dental Laboratory following the acquisition, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and entrepreneurial vision.

 

At HDL + DES, Adam now oversees day-to-day operations, leads business development, and works closely with the executive team to shape the lab’s future. Under the mentorship of Founder and CEO Kurtis Helm, Adam continues to learn, educate, innovate, and inspire—serving as a driving force behind the lab’s mission to be a trusted partner to dental professionals through excellence, reliability, and forward-thinking solutions.
